Back to the heartland tomorrow night “The Meadows” to try and find a few winners now that the footy season is over. More keen on the second half of the meeting than the first, so keep the wallet stocked up and ready to start having a decent bet from Race 7 onwards
Race 3-
Don’t mind the dog in box 7 Perfect Storm. I generally like to see how a dog goes at the track but his win two starts back at Sale was pretty impressive. This is a step up in class but he likes it wide and he seems a strong type. I will be having something small on him

Hecton Bale is the fastest dog in the race and I will be backing it for that reason. Did itself no favors last start when it missed the kick but it won at this track the start prior by 17 lengths. If it can stay out of trouble then I think it is the winner but it is a young dog who can still make mistakes so its not a load up bet but too good not to have something on.

Going to have something each way on He’s Loaded after a super run last week. This is a tough race and there are plenty of chances so don’t part with a heap of money but worth a bet for interest

Myrniong Corner has plenty on this bunch with clear running. Drawn poorly but is a genuinely good dog and I am happy to have a good bet at him tonight.

I’m having a good bet in this quality race on Black Mumbo in box 8. His form line is all around the best dogs in the country and he is a genuinely good dog. I think the box draw is great and although this field is full of talent, I think he is a step up from them

Another race where I will be having a good bet. Shadale in box 8 is showing signs of being a very very good dog and the box draw is no concern for me

Bonnie Beauty in box 1 is going to be short but another quality dog that is drawn to win this. Was super over the short last start and this distance is probably more its go.

Race 11-
Rockoon is another one that should be winning from the gun draw (box 1). If you have done your Money at Flemington in the day time then this is your get out of jail bet. Hang them up after Race 11 and call it a night
