Cracking night of racing tonight at Wentworth Park highlighted by the Group 1 Peter Mossman Final which is race 8 on the card. Sensational race with so much early pace from dogs that have drawn awkward boxes. Check out our best Wentworth Park Tips!
Thanks again to Matt Lanigan for providing his best bets for the card!
G’day punters!
I will be making the 10-hour drive to put the collar and lead on my dog ZIPPING HOOCH in race 7 who’s looking to make it back to back wins at Wenty Park.
He will need some luck early but hopefully, he can make the trip worthwhile.
We will be placing win only bets for tonight’s meeting to try outlay a few less units than usual but for greater reward (we hope!).

In Race 2 we will be backing the highly promising chaser KONG who jumps from box 3.
In his last few runs, he really looks like the penny has dropped and he’s learnt what racing’s all about.
One out he would be one of the fastest dogs going around but lacks a little track sense but he is worth backing tonight as I think he will settle top 3 at the first turn and then be far to strong.
Hopefully, he can kick start our night with a bang!
Race 5 also looks a great betting race.
ASTON DEE BEE & PATCH ADAM are both serious chasers but both also have had the tendency to miss the kick.
I think ASTON DEE BEE is difficult to beat and I will be outlaying 6 units at $2.9.
My only concern is if PATCH ADAM gets the start right and ASTON DEE BEE misses it then he will be extremely hard to reel in so, therefore, I will be having 3 units on the win of PATCH ADAM at $3.8.
It’s going to be a cracking race.
Our last bet of the night is saved for the last race (Race 10) but it will be worth the wait to go home with our pockets filled.
UNPRECEDENTED drops in grade and looks to have a clear class advantage. He is a very smart pup and if he can have an ounce of luck early he will be extremely hard to hold out.

Group 1 Peter Mossman Final
What a cracking final this will be. So much early pace drawn in the middle of the track.
SET TO SHINE (8) was the quickest semi-final winner last week from an outside draw but believe she will find it more difficult to cross this time.
UP HILL JILL (6) has been faultless and will run the favourite. If she jumps to the front she will be difficult to beat but with MISTER TWISTER (5) drawn beside her, he might be able to match it with her early and hold her out of crossing to the rail approaching the first turn.
LUCKY CHAP (4) was sensational in a flying heat win leading all the way but then missed the start last week but dug deep to get the win in his semi-final win.
If he can bring his box manners I think he is extremely hard to beat and sitting around the odds of $4.5-$5 it’s worth having something on.
Going to be a cracking final, good luck to all runners and connections chasing Group 1 glory!
Good luck to everyone and happy punting!
