Keen on the locally trained 5 Noble Rocks in this. Was very good and strong late behind Zedinator here over 1600m on Cup day and then ran 3rd at Horsham behind Jimmie Jim over 1800m on 3 November. Drawn wide but they do get a good run from the 1600m start and soft ground a slight query as has been unplaced on two heavy track starts, but wouldn’t think he’d run if that was a real concern. Suited back to 1600m here, gets his chance to win.

1 Delightful Cat with the 4kg claim for Michael Poy gets in well at the weights here and can win again in this grade. Won a BM58 at Warrnambool two starts ago on soft ground before a solid fourth last start at the same track in a BM64 also over 1200m. Back to a BM58 here and with the claim she can return to the winners circle.

Going with the 1 Volontiers in this. Finished very strongly first up over 1200m at Yarra Valley last start to just miss the win. Drawn well here and with the claim for Jack Martin gets in well at the weights, although still carrying top weight. Has won and been placed on soft ground so that is no concern. Hardest to beat will be the 3 Our Dexter, who had no luck at all last start at Dunkeld and Brad Rawiller making a rare journey this far out on a Monday takes the ride here. Three starts back was beaten 1.25 lengths at Stawell by Royal Applause and that’s good enough for this. Quinella 1-3.
1 Volonteirs (& Quinella 1-3)
Good luck and good punting everybody.
