Race 3 #6 Gogo Grace @ $2.7 with Ladbrokes
She gets in very well here – small field with little pace in the race means she should be able to find the front and prove very hard to run down. If you have an odds boost up your sleeve you can get something around $3 with Ladbrokes which is well above the average market price of $2.40. She looks very hard to beat.
Ipswich Best Bet
Race 7 #2 Jumbo Prince @ $5.5 with CrownBet
He’s a very honest galloper who has an excellent record at the track. He’s drawn ideally to get a run slightly forward of midfield and one off the fence with the best jockey in Brisbane (Jeff Lloyd) on board.
Form on the soft is outstanding and we are happy to forgive the run at Eagle Farm where he was 1600m up to 2200m on an awful track. He’ll strip fitter with that run under the belt and is ready to win.
Moonee Valley Best Bets
Race 8 #9 Onpicalo @ $17 with CrownBet
He followed a strong win when running good time at Caulfield with a run at Sandown where he was given no hope at all. The way the track should play (up and off) suits and he’s way over the odds currently.
A 1 x 3 special, top odds at CrownBet, Sportsbet and Bet365 currently but we expect he continues to shorten.
Race 9 #4 Leodoro @ $4.40 with CrownBet
Class runner of the field who does face a sticky map issue here. Luckily by the final race they should be able to run on in the wider lanes a bit easier meaning the field should spread. Hopefully, that results in Beau Mertens finding a gap through the middle of the field.
If that’s the case, Leodoro has the talent to blow right past this moderate field.
Saturday Racing Promos
Bookmaker promos are a great way of improving your bottom line as a lower to mid tier punter. Especially when you can get some form of refund on losing bets.
Just remember to not just bet for the sake of it unless the promo is too good to be true.
